About Us
We are West Meon Allotment Association. West Meon allotments are a local community venture that brings together keen gardeners and growers of all ages.
Our Allotments are sited within the village of West Meon in Hampshire and are open to residents of within the Parish of West Meon and Warnford.
We’ve been up and running enabling families to grow their own since 2010.
We share in the responsibility of maintaining and caring for our allotments through our committee and allotmenteer engagements.
The Allotments started in 2010. We have 10 full size plots and 10 half size plots and welcome anyone in the community whether a beginner or seasoned grower.
Our plots are enclosed and protected by a rabbit proof fence
There are water supplies at regular intervals around the site.
Full plots measure approximately 7 ms wide by 17 ms long and a half plot is 7ms x 8.5m.
Our Allotment Association is run by an elected committee of hard working volunteers who always need help so please let us know if you are able to lend a hand and join in with our site maintenance events.
The allotments are owned by the Community and regulated by a set of guidelines and committments between the committee and growers.
